The 2026 Annual Central China Entomology Symposium was successfully held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province from July 24 to 27. Sponsored by the Entomological Society of Jiangxi and relevant colleges of Jiangxi Agricultural University, undertaken by the School of Life Sciences of Nanchang University, and co-organized by the entomological societies of Henan, Hubei and Hunan provinces, the event gathered entomological experts, scholars and researchers across the four central China provinces for in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge entomological research, advances in disciplinary teaching and research, as well as green pest control technologies.
Hangzhou Pheromone showcased its full range of pest control products at the conference booth, displaying a variety of practical insect traps together with physical samples of pheromone lures tailored for forestry, agriculture, grain storage and other application scenarios. Many participating university faculty, students and plant protection researchers stopped by the booth to communicate with the company’s staff concerning product mechanisms, practical field performance and integrated pest management solutions.
Leveraging this high-standard academic platform, Hangzhou Pheromone fully demonstrated its R&D achievements in eco-friendly pest prevention products and strengthened industry-university-research cooperation with academic communities across central China. This exhibition not only expanded the company’s industrial communication network, but also facilitated the popularization and application of green pest control technologies through tangible products, contributing to agroforestry ecological security and the sustainable development of the green plant protection industry.
