From December 27 to 30, 2023, an information exchange event focused on pest control in forests and grasslands was held in Liangping District, Chongqing. This event was organized by the National Innovation Alliance for Monitoring and Early Warning of Biological Disasters in Forests and Grasslands, along with the National Promotion Network for Testing Demonstration of Forest Drugs and Devices. The activity also involved collaboration from the Chongqing Forest Pest Control and Quarantine Station as well as the Forestry Bureau of Liangping District. Over 380 participants attended this meeting, including leaders from forest bureaus across various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under central government), experts, and representatives from numerous green prevention and control enterprises.
The meeting presented the findings from the testing and verification of pest control agents for forests and grasslands, which included the American moth attractant, pine wood nematode vector insect attractant, and cross-season drilling injection products. The Hangzhou Pheromone Pine Ink Longniu attractant F8 has achieved exceptionally superior results.
During the technical exchange on enterprise products, Fan Jianting, the Technical Director of Hangzhou Pheromone and a faculty member at Zhejiang A & F University, presented a range of attractant products, including the pine ink Longicotine attractant and the American white moth attractant.
